No Return Shipping Label Present

Hello!

I did a return recently and the seller sent over a shipping label for the return, but I'm not seeing anything in my messages or inbox.

It's also saying that my return has already been fully refunded?

I'm not sure what happened or what's going on.

I did reach out to the seller, but haven't heard back yet.

Any advice helps!

@pooleman921 Once a refund is issued it's not possible to print an eBay return label from the request.

One of these reasons for the refund before the item was returned applies>

1. The seller made a mistake and issued a refund before you printed the return shipping label.

2. The seller decided it was better for their bottom line to issue a refund than having to pay for return shipping and then refunding.

3. eBay had to force a refund then the seller doesn't get their sellers fees back, they get a defect, and the buyer is usually allowed to keep the item.

You can reach out to your seller and see if they still want the item back.

If they do then they can send you a return label in eBay Messages as a JPG. The seller will not be charged for the label in the case since it was not used.

You are not required to return the item once a refund is issued. You can keep, donate, or dispose of the item if it no longer has value. However, I do feel that returning the item is the right thing to do as long as the seller pays return shipping.

Go to your Purchase history, locate the transaction. Does it show that it has been fully refunded? If so, then no return shipping label is needed.
