No response from Ebay
Has anyone here dealt with copyright infringement on eBay? Another seller is using my images and written content directly from my website. I’ve submitted the VeRO form twice—the first submission was over two weeks ago—and I still haven’t received a response from eBay. Is there another way to contact them or escalate this?

Mentor8 months agoIn order to use VeRO you must prove you are the legal rights owner of the item. It does not work for another user using your photos or content. Part of the user agreement is that once you list your item the listing becomes property of eBay and they actually make the photos available to any other user to use. They also allow other users to use your descriptions if they want.
Just remember that if another user is doing this then if their item is not exactly the same as your item then they are subject to "Item not as described" cases and any defects that eBay may apply to their account. So sellers doing this can get into trouble by doing this.

OP8 months agoThank you for your response. The item the other user has listed is an item only available on my website and I do not have it listed on ebay. The photos are copied from my website as well as the description. This is an item that I 100% fabricate from scratch and they are changing it's name but using my property to try to sell it.
