You haven't provided enough information to respond specifically to your problem, but if you want to ask a question about an item before making a purchase and the seller doesn't answer your message within a day or two, then move on to another seller.
If you had a problem with an order (item not received or item not as described), use the option next to the transaction in your Purchase History to open a case.
