No Refund For Damaged Electric Fan From Seller
I bought an electric fan that was received damaged. I notified the seller 7 days ago and he said he would refund but not to send the broken fan back. After 7 days he has not refunded and says I have to weight for his potential refund from his shipper before I receive my refund.

Mentor3 weeks agoIf the seller does not want the item back, s/he can refund you immediately. If that happens, a return shipping label will not be provided. The seller can then file an insurance claim with the carrier, uploading the photos you supplied.

Mentor3 weeks agoThat is not the way things should work. However, you need to open an "Item not as described" case to get teh refund.
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to open an “item not as described case”. This overrides the sellers return policy. Go to your Purchase History and find the item. Then under “More actions” click on “Return item” and then select the reason for the return as “doesn't match description". It may ask you to attach a photo so the seller and eBay can see what was received. The seller will need to send you a prepaid return label and once the item is returned they have three days to refund you. After this time has passed you would have to go to your payment source to see what help they can give.
