No refund even after insurance was purchased and bad product

Need assistance on getting refund from broken bad item sold to me, I even bought insurance but no refund, less then 2 months, insurance covers for q or, had parts professionally installed, defective after few weeks cracked , now seller won't communicate with me, and im out 500 dollars, wow, this is how Ebay helps it's people...just wondering

If the item you received is not as described, you need to go to your Purchase History, locate the item and click RETURN THIS ITEM. You only have 30 days from receipt of the item. Click the MORE option so you can select Not as Described. The seller will have to accept the return and provide a prepaid shipping label for the item's return. PRINT THE LABEL, affix it to the package. Make sure the clerk at the post office scans the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller has 2 days to refund you. If no refund. go back to the Returns Request and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.

If it is past 30 days, you will need to file a chargeback with your credit card issuer if that is how you paid.
