The con - buyer invented a story about “ a stolen contend “ of my package, Absurd! I sealed it very tight ! The con - buyer fabricated a case against me by requesting a return of an empty packaging (!) in the purpose to keep the item ( the necklace) and get the money of me ! REALLY sorry that is happening.
If you Sell long enough a fraudulent return from an internet criminal (and that is what they are) can and will
happen. We have had bogus returns on more than one selling account here. However, it is also possible that a carrier opened the package and stole the item, that too has happened and a number of years ago 33 Postal workers were arrested for stealing THOUSANDS of mail pieces and packages.
You need to Accept the return and when you get the package back use the Report Buyer link on the sold item, not before.
Some Seller protections may apply like withholding the Buyer's original paid shipping and letting you withhold up to 50% of the item price to help cut your loss. Seller protections | eBay
eBay will not be of any help but the Report Buyer lets you alert them of a potential problem with the Buyer. Did you check the Buyer's Feedback to see if other Sellers left info about the Buyer doing this kind of thing?
