No payouts...
Summary: jaysdawinna shared concerns about not receiving payouts for sports cards sold on eBay, despite shipping them and some being confirmed as delivered. They mentioned that a representative advised a 14-day payout hold contrary to eBay's stated 2-3 day policy. Additionally, jaysdawinna questioned a buyer payment delay, which prevents shipping labels from being printed and potentially hinders sales. krazzykats responded by sharing a link to eBay's payment guidelines.
My first items to ever sell on ebay sold on the 19th and 20th of September. I shipped them all on the 21st. I have no scheduled payouts that I can find. These are sports cards. Some were $1.36 shipping which is ESUS and has no tracking as per USPS. Others were higher and had tracking numbers. By the end of the week, I had feedback from most all buyers and the items with tracking showed delivered. However, I have no payouts. I was advised by a rep earlier this week that they will hold all of my payouts for 14 days from date of sale to assure that the item arrived. This is not what ebay selling policy states. It says 2-3 days after delivery. Can someone please explain this? I have shipped 21 items now and cannot find where ebay is going to pay me for any of it.

Mentor6 days agoIf autopay has not been opted into, the buyer has 4 days to pay. If no payment in 4 days, on day 5 you can cancel the transaction for Buyer didn't pay. That will record an unpaid item on the buyer's account. Two of those, and s/he will find it difficult to buy from sellers who block buyers with 2 or more unpaid transactions. That block will be in place for 12 months.
If you have autopay in place, but you offer a discount for combined shipping, the buyer can continue shopping, and payment will not be required for 7 days. Sellers, and most likely buyers, asked for this, as it was a PITA to refund buyers payments as additional purchases were made.

OP6 days ago · EditedAlso, how is it that I sell an item and the buyer doesn't have to pay until the next day?!?!?! It has always been just an hour until autopay! I would like to ship this and cannot print a label. Tried to invoice and it will not let me do so as "it sems that a transaction is already in place". In other words, a buyer can hijack my listing for an (x) period of time until they want to pay? This blocks out other buyers and potential higher sales! Please explain.
