No longer a registered user
I sold and already shipped a pretty expensive item to a buyer that I went to contact because the package was attempted to be delivered and there was no one there to except it. So I just wanted to make sure things were ok and no issues. So I go to check there profile and I get this notice that says No Longer A Registered User. I have been paid it's just being held till the item is delivered but I am now worried that I could end up losing my item and the money somehow?

eBay's tracking that shows an attempted delivery covers you because eBay considers that the same as a delivered item.
The sale will stand but if the Buyer files a credit card dispute claiming they did not make the purchase then that would be something eBay will help fight.
eBay may have closed the Buyer's account ... reason(s) unknown.

OP1 year agoSo then your saying the payment will be released and I won't have to wait for the 3 days after the tracking shows delivered?

As a new Seller your funds can be on hold for up to 30 days regardless of delivery status of any particular transaction. Payments on hold | eBay

OP1 year agoI just found that out after asking that. What I don't get is why eBay would tell me to ship a very expensive item to a buyer that they have removed from using eBay? I would of never sent the item if I had known the buyer was removed from eBay. eBay felt that they shouldn't be allowed to use there site to buy or sell and they violated a eBay policy that was bad enough to be removed from eBay yet I was not told this before shipping the item that now is just sitting at a post office in CO waiting to either be picked up or weeks from now returned to me by USPS. Then to make it worse the listing for this item got removed saying it violated some eBay policy about me advertising a manufactured warranty and the maker of the item contacted eBay. The thing is even though I can't see the listing itself anymore I know for a fact I said nothing about a warranty. So add the buyer is removed from eBay and I have a really bad feeling about this entire deal and that in the end it's going to cost me and I will end up with no money or item.

OP1 year agoAfter contacting eBay customer service I was told that a attempted delivery is not considered as the same as a delivered item. That said it's clear that eBay customer service reps don't always know what they are talking about since the first representative I spoke to guaranteed me the 3 day payout hold did not apply to this order and that the payout would be processed within 24hrs and well the item was delivered on the 26th and the payout won't be available till the 29th. All of this is really discouraging for someone just starting out as a eBay seller. Where and who has the correct answers that will help new sellers. It at this point doesn't look like there is anywhere or anyone.
