No consequences for “buyers†whom refuse to pay?!
When ebay does not enforce its own policy and there is no constructive consequences for dirtbag bidders whom win auctions and then refuse to pay or communicate, it certainly makes it seem like this is an intentional, malicious and encouraged action BY eBay.

Mentor8 months agoIf sellers follow eBay policy there are certainly consequences for non paying buyers.
Buyers have four full days (96 hours) to pay for their items. If they do not pay within the four full days then on the fifth full day you can cancel their purchase and give them an Unpaid Item Strike. To do this you find the item on your sold item list and from the drop down menu you select cancel purchase. Make sure to use the reason "Buyer has not paid" as this gets your final value fee refunded and the buyer receives an unpaid item strike on their account. This reason option will not show up until four full days have passed so if you do not see it then you are too early to cancel the purchase.
When you have your buyer requirements properly set to block users with two or more Unpaid Item Strikes on their account then that user cannot purchase any of your items. So sellers need to do the right thing and cancel the purchase properly to issue the strike.
