No communication or item from seller - eBay failed.
I am dissatisfied. Item 27-13780-62996 —
I paid for a sewing machine almost a year ago.
The seller said nothing, and sent nothing.
eBay did nothing.
Why is this seller still selling?

Buyers are covered for items not received for 30 days after the last estimated delivery date on their order through eBay. After that window has passed they may have longer protection from their funding source, you would need to contact them to see how long they offer protection.
If you do not open a refund on eBay then they do not know you did not receive your item and can not refund your money.
It is important to know how the eBay Money Back Guarantee works and the deadlines involved.

OP2 weeks agoI told eBay 12/26/25; they did nothing, and the seller did not respond. I wanted the item, which was why I did not ask for a refund.

Mentor2 weeks agoIf you open a case or request it only stays open for 21 days. You must "Ask eBay to step in" prior to this deadline or the case or request is closed in the sellers favor and eBay will no longer help you.

OP2 weeks agoSo a seller can rip me off, and not respond to me or eBay, and get away with it?

Mentor2 weeks agoIf the seller does not respond when you file a case, you have to go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund. If you do nothing, the case closes after 21 days.

They did nothing, then closed the case
