NO CATEGORY FOR GIRLS TOYS
I am baffled that after all these years ebay has been around, that there is no category for girls toys. I am trying to list a doll for girls, but the only choices that other sellers have listed dolls under are "collectibles" or "action figures." Neither are appropriate for new Barbie dolls or Cabbage Patch Kids for example. I am talking about new dolls to play with, not collectibles. They are certainly not "action figures", which was a terminology invented to sell dolls to boys. What is going on?

You made it look like "Dolls & Bears" is the main category, but it is not.
This is how the categories really break down:
Collectibles & Art>Dolls & Bears > Dolls, Clothing & Accessories > Dolls & Doll Playsets
As you see "Collectibles & Art" is the main category. This makes it look like a doll that is not meant to be played with, but to display. Any parents looking for a toy for their daughter to play with is not going to look under "Collectibles & Art".
Where are the girl's categories under Toys & Hobbies?

·11 months agoThe first Barbie Doll listing I pulled up is listed in the following category:
Dolls & Bears > Dolls, Clothing & Accessories > Dolls & Doll Playsets
I would think that would be the appropriate category.
