eBay's Money Back Guarantee is only good for up to 30 days after an item has been delivered, so there is no way ebay or even your credit card provider will allow you to get a refund since it has been so long since you made the purchase.
A few years ago ebay did set up Authentication for high end sneakers, where the seller ships shoes to the authentication service, and if the shoes pass authentication, they are forwarded to you. Look for the blue check mark circle next to Authenticity Guarantee. open the link below to learn more.
