Hi, I'm new to both but seeking help on how to set up eBay's shipping, return and payment policies for my Nifty Crosslister program.

I can't help you with Nifty, but here is where to opt in to Business Policies

If you wait a few minutes, eBay may build policies based on your existing listings.
But either way, you can establish your policy on this page, and then edit your listings to add the policies to each lisitng. (or use Bulk Edit)
Likely you will have one Payment Policy - eBay Managed Payments
You may have 1-2 return policies
- Buyer pays 30 day returns
- No returns
You will have several Shipping Policies. I use categories like
0-8 oz
8-16 oz
1 lb
2 lb
3 lb
4 lb
over 4 lbs
But it depends on your items and whether you offer free shipping on some items or do all calculated.
