New way to make money....ebay and seller make money, buyer gets nothing. Who wins? Ebay and seller.
I paid for an item many weeks ago. Seller gave excuses as to what was wrong with shipping. Never followed through with getting my item. Ebay won't help, seller won't respond. So, is this it new way to conduct business or a new way to scam buyers out of their money? Ebay got paid, seller got paid, I get screwed. Maybe I should start doing that. Sell an item that I don't even have, don't ship, and just ignore buyers. I get to keep the item and the money. Never knew.

Mentor3 years agoeBay has a link to the Money Back Guarantee on every item listing.
If you don't receive your item within 1-30 days after the estimated delivery date, you need to open a case to get your money back. Don't let sellers string you along until your protection period runs out.

Mentor3 years agoIf you file for a refund with ebay within 30 days, you get your money back. If waited too long for ebay to help you, file with the payment processor within 180 to get your money back. Buyer always wins when a product is not delivered and seller get a strike and penalized when they don't preform. However, it is up to you to file in a timely manner and/or ask for help.
