New USPS Rules
How are sellers going to address the new changes with USPS? Specifically, that items you drop off in a mailbox will no longer be postmarked with the date you dropped it off, but it could be 1, 2, 3 or more days before it is postmarked? How will you handle it if you cannot get into the post office to request a same day post mark? Looking for suggestions, thanks.

With or without this change, you shouldn't be dropping off packages in a mailbox, you should be either scheduling pickups or taking the packages into the post office to obtain acceptance scans. If your package isn't scanned within your state handling time, you receive defects on your seller record which could impact your ability to sell in the future.
If you print your labels in bulk, you can print a scan form that covers all the packages you've purchased shipping labels for that day. See "How to print labels for multiple orders at once" at this link:
