I forgot to mention that having a return policy can help with views and sales. Having a No Returns policy does not fly in the face of ebay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) except for Buyer's Remorse returns. You do have to accept returns for undisclosed damage not working etc. If you hope to become a Top Rated Seller, having a return policy is a must.

As a new seller your items will not show up in crowded categories near the first page of results if buyers use Best Match as their sort option until the last 48 hours or so before the listings roll over after 30 days.
In looking at the items you have listed in the Home and Garden - Decorative plates, collectibles categories, I see very few that have a Mfr's name. Key Words are one of the ways your items will get views, so a Mfr's. name in the title may help. Most collectible china / dinnerware has at least a maker's mark on the underside of the pieces and there are sites dedicated to looking up the marks to get the makers name. Any item you sell should have more than one photo of it, at least front and back but side and other views too.
Your Seller's Description should be more than just an add for the item lifted from some place. Things like stating if a decorative plate has a hanging string/wire hole in the base rim, should be mentioned. If there is any crazing or even very minor flaws they should be mentioned and photographed if possible.
eBay does have a Promoted/ Sponsored listings option but I'm not sure how well it will work for you in the categories you sell in There is a cost to list items that way. Do a Google search for:
" Sponsored/Promoted listings, ebay selling " and read the articles including the A.I. one, to decide if doing that is right for you.
One last suggestion, check your shipping options. One item's listing that ships from your location I checked to see if it was a set price or was based on a buyer's location. It was fixed, for both Ground Advantage and Priority Mail price and you could end up paying more to ship it than your stated charge if a west coast buyer bought it and selected Priority Mail.
I resisted promoting my listings since it was first introduced, but back in September 2022, I decided to give it a shot, and I did sell items using promoted listings. I now use it sparingly. I listed 500 items in October 2025, no promotions, no accepting offers, and was surprised at my 90 day sales. These items are over 20 years old, so I did not think they needed promoting because of the age of the items, as I thought there would be very few of these items listed.
