New sign-in to my account

Question

After changing my pw, I immediately, like in the same minute, got a 'new sign-in' notice -- from Las Vegas! I live in Washington. Changed it again and same thing.

Could this actually be me or is my account being shadowed/mirrored?

If so, is the best course of action to shut down my account and create a new one?

Are you using a hotspot or a VPN? Or privacy software that hides or alters your location information?

If not, the location information should be coming from your internet service provider. The location itself may be your provider's central office in some cases.

As long as the time and browser correspond to your own sign-in activity, you should be OK.

Changing your password should end any active sessions and require the new password to proceed.
