New Shipping Calculated charges
Hi
I know we can opt out but I am curious how everyone else feels about the new calculated shipping offering customers your discounted rates. Originally the additional discount covered some of the fees that were being charged by email. But if we opt into the new shipping then we will actually have to takes all fees out of the selling cost of the item, am I correct? Issue to me is we are charged fees across the board on the item, sales tax and shipping, which has always bothered me. If your not overcharging with your shipping then you are losing approx 13-15% of that item with the new rule? Does anyone think this will increase your sales? Thanks

Mentor2 years agoI'm not sure where you are getting the last part about all the fees coming from shipping?
Currently the default is set to not pass the eBay discount to buyers. All this change does is default to pass the discount to buyers. You can opt out so it doesn't change or you can change it back in your shipping preferences after the change happens.
