New sellers/ impossibly low prices
We have been looking at generators for a few weeks, and noticed something new today: There are suddenly a bunch of new sellers offering Westinghouse generators at impossibly low prices. For example, one of these sellers is offering a brand new Westinghouse 12,500 peak watt generator with remote start for $399.00. Most places want MUCH more for this item. I know that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. But I also think maybe this is a legit deal and shouldn’t be passed up.
These all seem to be new sellers, have sold little or nothing yet, and have no feedback. Are these legitimate sellers? Why are there so many brand new sellers all at the same time, selling items at impossibly low prices? Does eBay check out new sellers – is there some sort of vetting process that filters out scammers?

Mentor2 years agoEvery storm season these generator scammers appear. If they have no history of great feedback from buyers of theses items, stay clear. Keep an eye on them, they will disappear as they are found out.
