I am new to Ebay. I created an account and tried to list an item for sale. I received an automated message that it could not be listed because personal information was included. I did not add personal info. Any idea why I got this message?

We do not know for certain since we cannot see what the listing said. However, you need to know how eBay monitors listings. Bots will look at the listing and remove all of the spaces between the characters and then look at the resulting character string for any prohibited things. So any string of seven to ten numbers can be seen to be a phone number. Any string after an "@" sign can be considered as an email address. So you need to be careful of these things in your listing. Sometimes changing the order of the wording can help with the problem.
