if youre not a storefront selling on ebay is it profitable or worth using the platform? i have items for sale and not a store and it not a business just buying and selling what comes as it does but my question with it is; is it worth the headache ironing the kinks out as it seems although i botched my first sale and now fully aware of that. ebay has carged the amount of fees and that totals the cost of the item i was selling that was canceled but nonetheless the buyer got a full refund and his money back. Everything seems finalized on my account and from what i see ebay took every listing, promote, shipping and listing fee. Now i see ebay not just letting the stuff happen constantly and turn a blind eye to it but the fact ive never sold on the platform and no real "how to" except the pages upon pages of terms, even that, easy to get lost in that but they're fees have eaten the second items money and into the thirds. seems im paying ebay to give my stuff away and so far its me thats lost and almost as much as i was getting off the item to begin with.
