New scam!
This buyer requested to return this item, claiming the record was warped. As you can clearly see in the original photo in the listing, it is not warped at all. Anyways, I accepted the return, he never mailed it back to me. He opens a case, never mails it back to me, then ebay gives him a full refund! So, he buys it, claims it’s damaged, never mails it back to me, files a claim, the ebay gives him a full refund. I’ve lost $200 AND the actual record. I’ve been on eBay for 20 years and this is a new scam from a new, low feedback buyer from Germany. I’m demanding that eBay refund me the $200, or demand that the buyer ship my record back to me, which is not even damaged, (check the original photo I’ve included below) I will block this bidder and no longer ship to Germany. Thank you for your attention to this matter, as I await my refund, or the return of my record. Update: ebay denied my appeal, he never returned the item, then they refunded him! I'm out $200 and my record. Not happy,,,,

I'm very sorry this happened to you.
I want to be sure I'm understanding the chain of events.
Did you ship the record to the eBay hub in the United States?
If so, did the Buyer open an Item Not as Described refund request on eBay?
At any point did the Buyer open a chargeback?
It would be helpful if you could update the details for us.

OP11 months agoYes, shipped to the international hub. Yes, he opened a return, I accepted the return. After I accepted the return, he opens up a case. He never shipped it back to me, then ebay refunded him. They should not refund a buyer until the item has been delivered and received by the seller. If they don't change this, people will start buying stuff, open a claim, get refunded, and keeping the item, never shipping it back to the seller.

Thank you for responding.
When a Seller ships an item to the hub and it arrives there safely, the Seller's job is done.
If the overseas Buyer opens an Item Not as Described refund request, it is eBay, not the Seller, who would handle any returns or refunds. The Seller would not get the item back.
If the Buyer files a chargeback with their bank, that automatically closes the Item Not as Described refund request. It then becomes up to the Buyer's bank to decide the outcome.
What I don't understand is why eBay didn't handle the original Item Not as Described case.
I would message eBay on their Facebook page to find out what happened. Best of luck.
