NEW POSTAL RATES
Can anyone explain why it would cost $8.42 to send a baseball card through ebay . I had to take my card to the post office and mail it because it was cheaper. This really sucks

·3 years agoYou have been listing your cards with UPS ground shipping which has nothing to do with the Post office.

Mentor3 years ago@barrybat It shouldn't cost that much. Were you using the parcel select/ advantage for your shipment? If so then it should be the same as the 1st class rates were for up to 15.999
Looking at your listings you have UPS ground on them. This will cost more than the USPS ground advantage.
Here's how to update your listing to the correct shipping method of parcel select/ advantage :
USING Bulk edit:

With Business Policies:

General info:

AND the shipping price shown when creating a listing is the old parcel select ground rate and not correct. But the correct rate is displayed on live listings and in the shipping calculator. eBay is working to fix this.
