New policy about holding funds
I've been with eBay for a long time and have maintained a 100% buyer feedback rating. Why does this new policy apply to established Sellers with an excellent track record. I read online that this policy is not universal. When I called to ask I get the same generic answers read to me as if reading a script or form letter. I understand safety protocols, but every seller goes through this wait time when they first start selling to prove trustworthiness. And then later, when you've proven to be a reliable Seller, funds get released a lot sooner. And now this policy comes along negating that process altogether, and ultimately deincentivising the Seller. Should this policy apply to trustworthy eBay sellers with a maintained 100% feedback rating? I'm disabled and began selling to make ends meet and this policy has been a real burden. It's incredibly frustrating to see your available funds just sitting there, often times for weeks, when you need groceries, medications, and need to pay bills. It's a real slap in the face after all of my hardwork maintaining an excellent track record. But, eBay doesn't seem to care about this kind of sentiment. I'm now looking for other sites to sell as eBay clearly does not care about incentivising established & trustworthy Sellers anymore. I'm venting of course, but I felt compelled to share my frustrations as I'm sure many of you feel the same way. I appreciate your time. Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear of your frustrations.
All infrequent/returning Sellers will have their funds held for approximately 30 days in the event of a Buyer dispute. EBay allows Buyers up to 30 days to request a refund and Sellers need to have the funds available to cover that.
Ebay also makes many changes to their site that Sellers need to be familiar with.
Ebay shows you have received four feedbacks in the last six months. All with glowing reviews! As soon as you have some additional successful sales, eBay will start releasing your funds sooner.
