new part??
i purchased a master cylinder in December. opened the box it was sealed in plastic it did look new. just went to install it a week ago it wouldn't hold fluid. I pushed on piston and fluid came out the end. 53 years of doing this have NEVER seen this. contacted shipper he suggested i buy one at a local parts store and return the one he sent me to my local store as defective? not good practice. what does every one think? thank you
