Mentor1 year agoI'm not sure why that listing was removed since we can't see it to review the details.
With that said, I noticed a couple of things in your TOS [terms of sale] that you likely should adjust, just because they aren't quite correct.
While you are correct, Ebay does charge sales tax in states that require it, it is not only for Michigan. And sales tax is NOT charged by the state the seller is in. Sales tax is charged by WHERE the item gets shipped to. The rules of the state the item is being shipped into is what Ebay is required to do.
Ebay pays those taxes they collect to the appropriate state. I'm not sure what "Gubmint" is. Maybe that is specific to the state YOU are in. IDK.
Ebay does NOT allow sellers to charge a "restocking fee". So don't get caught trying to do that and I would recommend removing it from your listings.
Neither of these items would have caused a listing to be closed by Ebay. Just some thoughts for you to consider.

The error message sounds like eBay thinks there is a phone number or other contact information in the actual listing, or that you are selling something that requires a password.
Here are the policies that apply

https://www.ebay.com/help/member-behavior-policies/policies/contact-information-sharing-policy?id=4373
Here are things to look for and edit to solve this:
1) Does your description mention "PayPal" if so, remove that.
2) Do you have a website URL, an email address, or a phone number in the description, the item specifics, or in the photos?
If so, remove those.
3) A series of 7 or 10 numbers that looks like a phone number?
4) An @ sign in the description?
5) A misplaced period example fitbit.ly lets go.to the mall
6) The word Street, Avenue, or other things that could be part of an address?
7) If you copied and pasted the description, there can be a URL hidden in the text. I can explain how to remove that if needed.
