new here - waiting on seller to answer question
complete newbie - when packing an order of multiple pieces, I broke a piece. I am waiting on the seller to respond to tell me if they still want the order, but it is showing my order is shipping "late" if I don't ship today and I haven't heard from the seller.
I don't want to get in trouble by ebay - how can I avoid showing its late and that I can't do anything until I hear from the seller

-First, you can ship the order less that one item and Refund them for that. Include a nice note explaining you broke that item before packing it. You can message them agaon through eBay explaining what you are doing.
-If you do not ship within your Handling time you risk getting late shipping defects so the way to avoid those is to ship on time.
-In the future do not put yourself in a position to have to WAIT for you customer to respond before you do something. Make a decision and take action, otherwise you will sit and wait ... like you are doing right now.
