New FedEx payment schedule
With the new system of paying as you go for FedEx I'm wondering if I'm going to have to change how I currently ship saddles. Right now I specify a typical box size, and a typical weight. I take the saddle and the label to a professional shipping store and they package the saddle in whatever box works the best for the saddle. They then hand it off to FedEx and when the driver scans the label in, the true size and weight is also entered. So, the price is then adjusted to match the real size and weight of the package - could be more, could be less.
My question is - if the original cost to ship is actually less than what the real cost is, do i get a refund or do they just keep the difference?
