New eBay Search Functionality is Limited
The new search functionality is extremely limited. Not being able to pop up the exhaustive list of parameters to weed out the spam/incorrectly listed items makes eBay entirely unusable for anyone trying to be specific in areas such as Computer Servers.
If I'm looking for a server, I don't want to see card slot fillers, batteries, or other items. I want to be able to specify memory, how many rack units it will take up, and if there is any storage included (just an example). In that example alone, I am unable to specify the last two items now and it causes mostly blade servers and computer parts to display instead of entire servers (rackmount or otherwise).

Mentor1 year agoTo see all filter options, try searching using keywords rather than browsing a category. From your search results page, narrow the category using the category tree shown on the left side of the search results page if you are using a desktop browser. Once you have narrowed the search to a specific category, you should see your category-specific filter options.
If you do not have a specific keyword in mind, try searching using the category name as your search keyword(s), or else use your filter option as a search keyword.
