New Ebay scam and how its done
so i recently learned this from an ebay seller who scammed me. they made a listing "live eels". the delivery was 45 days out. i figured it was because they had to hatch the eels. sometime between paying and the estimated shipping date, the seller changed the listing. they reposted it as updated with a 2 day delivery. this instantly put ebay past the grace period to step in to help. the seller kept my money. never shipped anything and wont respond to myself or ebay., great con and Ebay hasnt done anything about this loophole scam yet.
took me a few phone calls and talking to several ebay customer service reps for me to be able to piece this together. unfortunately for buyers, email has an almost non existent escalation department. great top the scam, bad for the seller.

Mentor1 year ago@myandro_48 You can file a chargeback with your bank or credit card. The seller will also receive a $20 dispute fee
The seller shouldn't have been able to change the handling time to 2 days AFTER you paid. That's very odd.
