New DVD defective

I contacted the seller & informed him that the DVD was no good & wanted my money back. When I bought it, the shipping was free. However, he has agreed to refund my money when I return the DVD. It will cost me the shipping to return it, according to the US Postal Service. So, I'm in a catch twenty-two! Any suggestions? Thanks,

File a return request for a defective item. As long as you have not had it more than 30 days the seller MUST pay return shipping and refund 100%

The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request for most categories AND 3 days for Trading Cards.

Here's what you need to do:

Open a return with the reason doesn't match description or photos.

Let me know if you need to return an item to another country as there are additional steps required. The seller pays return shipping for an item that is not as described no matter where they are located.
