New device location wrong
New device log in. I logged in and get an email saying the device was new and approximate location is no where near where I live. Do I need to worry about this? Not the first time either.

Mentor2 years agoUsing a VPN or a hotspot can also affect the location shown.

Mentor2 years agoWho is your internet provider? The item location is most likely the provider's home location, rather than a cell tower. If the time matches what ebay is reporting, I wouldn't worry about it. If you are worried, change your Password, and do not allow your browser to remove cookies, and you shouldn't get that message again.
