Never Scanned by USPO

Hi, 4 packages were picked up by my mail carrier. Three show that they were scanned and one did not. I waited and hoped for the package to be scanned at next stops or even at delivery but it has not been scanned. It has been 8 days and no movement seen on my item. Tracking just shows my address as if I printed the label but never took it to the post office. I refunded the buyer of course but I am out the item and label cost since it was free shipping. Any idea how I can resolve this? Can I cancel the label since it has not been scanned.? Thanks for your thoughts. J

Mentor1 week ago · Edited@jason981 I would give it a little more time. Hopefully it will still get scanned somewhere. I strongly recommend taking your packages to the post office if at all possible and standing in line and get a receipt.
You can void/ cancel the label within 28 days of purchasing it if it has not been scanned from the actions drop down menu next to the label on this page>
