Never received return , but ebay refunded the buyer
I just realized that I made a sale quite some time ago and eBay refunded the buyer.But I never received the item back

Mentor2 years agoDid the buyer file an Item Not Received case, or was a Returns Request case filed?
If you did not reply to the Item Not Received case, and the buyer clicked to Ask ebay to step in after 4 days, then ebay refunded the buyer. If a Returns Request prepaid shipping label was sent to the buyer, and tracking shows that the buyer delivered the package to the post office, then ebay refunded the buyer from your funds (that is what happened to me years ago when I never received the item back).

If you wanted the item returned, you needed to respond to the Return Request by providing a return shipping label in order for the buyer to ship the item back to you and then after you received the item, you would have issued a refund. If you did not respond to the Return Request, then the buyer was able to turn to Ebay for help in receiving the refund.
