Never received my refund on a returned item.
I purchased a tablet on ebay in May & requested a return for a refund because the tablet was defective.
I opened a return case & returned the item.
The seller received the item & I was waiting for my refund.
The case was closed yesterday & I never received my refund.
I have checked the status of the case. Case is closed & item was delivered but not refunded.
How do I get my money back? I'm angry.

Mentor1 year agoAppears you let the case expire without asking ebay to step in. You will now need to request the refund through the payment processor. Make sure to include the return tracking number.

OP1 year agoIsn't ebay the payment processor? They originally took the funds out of my ebay account balance.
Thank you for helping me. I didn't realize it was my job to make sure I got the refund. Ebay sent me a notice saying the seller to refund me once he received the item.

Mentor1 year agoYes the seller should have refunded, but if he doesn't by the fourth day you need to ask ebay to do it as ebay has no way of knowing if seller refunded outside of ebay.
If the funds came out of your ebay account balance from selling items, you need to contact ebay:

In the future it is always best to use a credit card and let them take care of the problem if needed.

Mentor1 year agoOnce tracking shows Delivered back to the seller, the seller had 2 days to refund you. If no refund, you go back to the returns request and click Ask ebay to step in to force the refund. If you did not do that, ebay will eventually close the case. You have waited too long. You should have come to this forum earlier.
