never received item
I asked eBay to step in that item was never received and that it's been stuck in transit for a week now. So then i get an email saying seller updated tracking but it's the same tracking number. I have been in contact with the seller thru all of this but he or she just claims to have shipped it out is all i get from them. I tried contacting usps but they won't give any info to me because I'm not the shipper and i relayed that to the seller but all they said is i will try and call them. Nothing from them after that last message and it's been 2 days now. Ebay says now i have to wait another week before they will step in WTH I think I'm done with Ebay I've been a member since 2005 i believe but this is **bleep**!!! Amazon will be my go too i guess and ill just pay more but at least ill freakin get what i paid for in a timely manner!!!

Mentor1 year agoWhile I can understand your frustration, you have to also consider that it is the Post Office that has delayed this package.
When eBay reports to the seller that the item is delayed, they ask the seller to update the tracking. The only tracking number they have is the original tracking number. That is why you got the "correct" tracking number updated.
I know you want your item quickly, but you are asking the seller to refund you for something that likely will arrive in a few days. Once the seller has to refund you, and the item arrives, you have both the money and the item. That is why eBay gives you the waiting time of a week, because in most cases, the item arrives.
I am sure the seller is as frustrated as you are.
Just have some patience and check the tracking for movement. If it doesn't arrive you can ask eBay to step in after a week. It probably will arrive in that time.

OP1 year agoI understand being delayed but the seller doesn't respond or if they do its days later and then alls they say is ill look into it but never responds after their reply...
Further more Ebay doesn't do squat to help this frustrating issue. USPS will not answer my questions because I'm not the shipper which is more frustrating... it seems the seller doesn't give a crap!!!
Ordered march 30th tracking number was provided march 30th item didn't depart until april 3rd or finally dropped off april 3rd and that was after i contacted them, then suddenly usps has item in its possession.
How long is sufficient or be patient should i be?
Thank you for a reply as ebay still hasn't replied.. just keeps sending me seller updated tracking (same tracking number) 11 times yesterday WTH is that about?

Mentor1 year agoDid you try to contact them 11 times yesterday? They only send that updated tracking when you try to update the request.
What do you want to seller to do?
If it doesn't arrive you can ask eBay to step in after a week. It probably will arrive in that time.
