Never got my package

Question

I brought a package on August 19th and the seller brought it to the post office. The package hasn’t left the post office from where it was coming from. I contact twice and the seller hasn’t got back to me saying why the my package hasn’t come yet.

First thing to do is to go to the USPS website and ask their customer service to check on the package. This can sometimes shake a package loose from where it is hiding.

What is the last estimated delivery date shown in your purchase history for the item? You cannot open an "Item not received" case until one full day after after this date and not more than 30 days from this date.

The buyer has thirty days starting from the last estimated delivery date shown at the time of purchase to start an "item not received" claim with eBay. Once a claim has been started, the buyer has up to twenty-one business days to ask eBay to step in and force a refund. After that, the case is automatically closed without a refund, and eBay can no longer help.

If you have waited too long to start a claim or to ask eBay to step in, you may still have recourse through your payment method. Many credit cards offer some protection for items that are not received for up to six months from the date of purchase.
