Never got a return label, seller said to ask eBay where to find it. Order marked as closed. Help!
Seller refused a return, eBay helped me get one since item was not as described. Refund issued. I've waited 6 days for a return shipping label. Seller, who has been very abrasive from the beginning, said to ask eBay where to find it. Order status is marked as Closed. Does anyone know how I can get hold of it? I do not want this item & don't think I should have to pay to return it, either. TIA!

Since you've already been refunded, you have no obligation to return the item and a label will not be provided by eBay. If the seller wants the item back and you are willing to return it, he will have to purchase a label from another online website, such as Pirate Ship, and email it to you. Otherwise you can dispose of the item as you wish.

OP4 months agoThank you so much for the clarification. I haven't bought anything from eBay in a few years, but I've never tried to return anything. This was draining from the start. I had no idea what was going on, read many articles, tried to use their help screens, etc. I contacted her one last time and expect some nasty reply, as all her others have been. She shipped it as 4 oz, when her description was listed as 15 lbs (scrap, broken jewelry pieces). Part of her argument was that it weighs 15 oz and I should have known that from the photo. I have not been buying my scrap pieces like that to begin with. And, she ripped off the post office by shipping a box that actually weighed one pound as 4 oz! Probably does them all like that. I have put her name in a Note in my phone under the "Don't do business with" group. Ugh.
Again, thank you for your time in explaining this. I can't calculate how much time I've spent trying to figure out what was going on.
