Net receiving email with offers or ebay tells a buyer I am not accepting offers
Summary: dhdvt received notice of a sale without having seen the offer, and was informed by a buyer that eBay indicated they were not accepting offers. They are unsure where the error occurred, as they typically use similar listings and have accepted offers before. 1 day ago I received notice a buyers offer was accepted by me and I made a sale. The money came thru and I will ship tomorrow. I never saw any offer and the price was OK I would have accepted the offer. Now a buyer writes to me and says ebay said "I am not accepting offers". I do not know where on the listing I would have checked the box to say no offers. I have sold similar items thru offers so I have worked before and used previous listings to make a new similar listing. I have 35 items which are all similar and I will thu them all but I would like to know where the mistake could have been made. Thanks for your help

I just glanced at your active listings and they all appear to be accepting best offers
1) It's possible the potential buyer was from another country and couldn't make an offer because of that.
2) If you set an 'auto accept' offer price, eBay will accept it for you when that offer amount is submitted.
