Negative feedback
If a buyer purchases a item from you and you the seller describe the item best you can being accurate in describing the item as possible but the buyer never contacts you to resolve or address any issues they found after it arrives should the buyer be allowed to leave negative feedback without even trying to contact the seller first to give a chance to resolve any issues ? Otherwise from now on anything I sell will have only SELLING AS IS in the description.

Mentor3 years agoYes, the buyer can leave negative feedback without contacting you. If that happens, you can reach out the the buyer to resolve the problem, and if he is satisfied, he may agree to a feedback revision.
"As is" in the description is meaningless and will not protect you in a claim. for example, unless you list an item for parts only - non-working, then the buyer should have every expectation that it works as intended.
You've posted this as a hypothetical question. If you are currently involved with an unhappy buyer and need help, post back with a description of the problem and what has happened so far. I don't see that you have received any negative feedback.

OP3 years agoYes but I know what I sold was in great working order having been professionally serviced before I listed it so what buyer claimed was not possible yet without filing a claim or contacting me to resolve any issue or request a return they issued negative feedback against me and I cannot remove it which is **bleep** I know I did nothing wrong here I feel buyers should not be allowed to leave negative feedback unless they contact the seller first.
I guess one solution never again am I doing international shipping second solution not selling on eBay anymore until that policy changes to protect the sellers ratings as well.
