Negative feedback
I need help from other sellers, since eBay has no real people on the phone to help
sellers with issues that really affect seller performance, any help here will be much
appreciated …. I sold an item that shipped in time of eBay guidelines, printed the label
and dropped off at ups store, later in the day customer requested to cancel order,
I kindly responded with I’m sorry your package was shipped …. Since I always try to
accommodate my buyers and since I was dropping off additional packages, I was able
to retrieve her package, I was able to void the label thru pirate ship and I cancelled the
order and refunded the buyers money.. thought this was over, Buyer then left me negative
feedback as bad customer service, wow. If that was bad customer service then I’m not
sure what is good or bad anymore, ok. Back to my issue I need help with, eBay agrees that
i did everything right and that it’s wrong for buyer to leave me negative feedback by that
eBay stands by the policy that the buyer didn’t violate any eBay policies and that negative
feedback is a buyers choice to leave, I contacted the buyer and I get crickets from her
what can I do ? Help! Thanks GRN

·2 years agoThe only thing you can do is leave a calm, factual reply to the negative feedback. This is your opportunity to “rise above†and look like the adult in the room. If done properly, this can make your buyer look foolish.
Negative feedback no longer affects your selling metrics. It’s just an eyesore, so don’t sweat it.
