negative feed back
an item was sold locally, but the same day an eBay customer bought it, I apologized and explained to him that the item was sold locally,
he got upset and decided to give me a negative feed back, even though I was nice to him and I left him positive feedback,
it is a Tesla all weather mats

Mentor3 years agoWhen you signed the user agreement, you agreed to complete your transactions with your buyers.
It doesn't matter how nice you are when you violate that policy, a buyer is disappointed and inconvenienced after spending time shopping for what he wanted, choosing to buy from you, and then being told the item was already sold. Why was the refund not processed immediately and why did you not respond to the buyer's communications?
The feedback is warranted. It's purpose is to let other buyers know what to expect when they shop with you.
If you are going to offer an item on eBay and elsewhere at the same time, you are required to honor the eBay sale. For the future, if you sell an item locally, be sure to immediately end the eBay listing so this problem cannot occur.

Buyers have the right to expect an item that they purchase be shipped and have the right to an immediate refund. The buyer was more upset about not being refunded, understandably.
