Negative balance
I am confused how I have a negative balance after selling 15 items while on vacation. It looks like I am being charged the shipping instead of the buyer. Anyone dealt with this?

Mentor4 months agoThe buyer pays the shipping charges (through Ebay). You are responsible for paying the shipping cost (postage) to ship the item to the buyer.
The money the buyer paid for the shipping charges through Ebay will be part of your Ebay payout from proceeds from the sale.

Mentor4 months ago@wenjoro Your payout funds are probably still on hold and eBay has deducted the amount for shipping from the buyers payment. Buyers pay for shipping and you use the buyers money to but a shipping label.
What does it say on your summary page> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ovw
That sounds frustrating.
Your "available funds" are a running total, so there may be other fees from other listings and sales intermingled. Each payout can cover multiple transactions.
If you click PayOut ID here, it will have a complete breakdown of that Payout:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/payouts
From your gross sales (Price + Shipping, if any + Sales Tax) eBay will deduct
Sales Tax (remitted to the state)
Shipping labels
Final Value Fees FVF
Insertion fees (if any)
Promoted listing fees (if any)
Store Fees (if any)
etc.
There is a nice video on this page about how to find your fees: https://export.ebay.com/en/fees-and-payments/seller-fees/
Here is a help page where you can learn about selling fees:

All of the deductions should be listed here:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/transactions
Please look at the breakdown here of your payouts here:
