I've been a buyer on eBay for 37 consecutive years I have the same sign on name and the same email address for all 37 of those years when I sign into my account and go to settings and then choose email it shows you a list of all the email options however it won't allow me to change any of those preferences I can't delete any or add any in the little block that they offer the change in I've tried for five consecutive days and all it says is your preference change failed I signed out of my account and sign back in and it still does the same exact thing. So because I purchase six or seven items a day after two or three days I have 20 or 30 eBay emails telling me that the seller is wrapping my purchase and then I get a message that says the seller is mailing my purchase and then I get another one saying the purchase will be there in XYZ days and it just goes on and on and on different emails so when you have that many purchases with different sellers it's just crazy and you can't call eBay they won't answer the phone unless you're calling about a scam or something like that it's very frustrating

OP7 months agoI'm using the browser not the app but I've used this on my phone ever since a cell phone came out and I've never had any problems with it until just the last few days

Are you using a browser or the eBay app? Latest version?
Any difference if you use another browser?
If you are using the eBay app, try turning push notifications off and then back on to see if that allows you to change the other settings. If that does not help, try uninstalling the eBay app, restarting your device, then installing the latest version of the eBay app.

OP7 months agoI used the browser on my phone but I've used it for years and years it's Android and I've never had any problem until the last couple of days

Ebay members have only ONE email address attached to their Ebay account. All of your Ebay correspondence should come to that one email you have associated with your Ebay account.
And yes, Ebay does send multiple messages per purchase to your registered Ebay address.
