Need to return and item purchased as a guest - but the system is NOT letting me do it
I only use ebay once in a very great while. I recently ordered an item and when it arrived it was very clear that it was not described accurately. The problem is that I checked out as a guest because I was in a hurry and couldn't remember/find my ebay user information and password. I started the return process and was sent a link to contact seller. The link takes me nowhere. Trying to call an ebay representative ii apparently an impossibility and using the ebay "contact us" option doesn't do anything. The order info for a return was sent to my correct email for my account (I have since located me user info)..... but ebay seems to be confused that I am the guest behind the order. Can anyone tell me how I can make this happen for me?

Mentor3 years agoGuest purchases are not linked to your eBay account.
For help with a guest purchase, sign out of your current eBay account, then use the link in the email that eBay sent regarding the order, or see here:
