Need to check return status, having purchased as a guest

I have an eBay account, but wasnâ€™t logged in when I made a purchase. I have initiated a return and the seller has processed the refund. But when I click the View Details button, I end up getting challenged for my eBay account credentials, since the email address I gave on the purchase is the same as the one registered to my account. But if I enter the credentials, it brings me to my accountâ€™s purchase history, and the transaction is of course not there, since I wasnâ€™t logged in when I made it. Donâ€™t know how to get past this catch 22.
