Need past listing detail
I bought a VERY Expensive piece of aviation avionics last May (2023). The item was listed as New (other). This was over $8,000. 6months later, as is typical for aviation avionics installations, I have found the item to be defective and the seller misrepresented the item as New (other). Long story- but I was able to track down the items “lifeâ€.
anyway, in my purchase history I can see the item, but the FULL ORIGINAL LISTING detail is what I need. I’m sure eBay has this, but I don’t know how to get someone to request this.
help!!

Too much time has passed to file a claim with eBay, or any payment source probably, but if you need the full listing details in order to pursue other remedies, I don't know if eBay can help you with that or not.
Contact eBay CS on social media and ask there first.
Only use the Private DM or PM Messaging - do not post your account info publicly.
Give them your User ID, your real name/address, the email attached to your account, Item #, and explain the issue in detail.
They usually respond in a day or two.

You can also search on your own with the Wayback Machine. It can be hit or miss and takes time to narrow down the search but worth a try.

Mentor2 years agoUnfortunately eBay only provides their Money Back Guaranty for 30 days from receipt of the item. Since it has been much longer than this eBay will not be able to help you. You can check with your payment source to see if they can provide any assistance to you. PayPal and many credit/debit cards will help for 180 days from payment.
