Need opinion on if I have grounds to appeal
I bought a phone via buy now on Friday may 24th at 5am for $100. Shipping (Canada from Ontario to BC) was free 3-5 day or $30 expedited air mail weekend delivery next day delivery via Canada post expedited parcel delivery. Phones are important. I get a message saying the seller isn’t able to have the item shipped until Monday. He provided a tracking number for standard shipping on the 27th. The phone arrived on June 5th. I specified I was in basement suite or leave it at front door as I have cameras to confirm delivery. For some reason he put community mailbox. I have footage from that day and days around it. I even left a note on canada post account to leave it at door although I was home. They had instruction to leave It in the community mailbox and have no signature signing for it. They went based off of the seller paying $8.99 for standard shipping so he has final say. He charged me $30 for 1 day shippping but didn’t ship it for 3 days. Because he has a email stating it was delivered to a community mailbox, i lost out on a phone andbwas scammed for shipping. What should I do?
