Need help with possible counterfeits
I bought two DeWalt batteries on March 21st and received them April 1st. They were charged when I got them and they worked for a few days. After about 2-3 weeks the DeWalt chargers no longer recognized them or would charge them. I cross-checked the chargers with my other DeWalt batteries and they worked fine. Unfortunately by the time I was able to request a refund, it was past the 30 day window and the request was refused the same day with no reason (May 12). The listing does not show up in my order history (I ordered as a guest at the time but paid with PayPal), and is currently marked "This listing has been removed for a policy violation." in the return window. I'm becoming convinced that these are probably counterfeit although they look exactly like my previous battery except for the date code. eBay says once the return is refused they will not get involved. Any suggestions? If nothing else, it seems like the seller should be held liable for not delivering the product I ordered.

OP1 year agoAn update - the seller of these batteries was listed as "auto-modification-e1v" but during the return process showed up as "shenzhenshidabaiqingkeshangmaoyouxiangongsi, Shatian zhen li ao huayuan , C19 dong bieshu, dongguan shi 523900, China".
If I would have known that I would not have bought them. I feel that both the buyer and the product have been intentionally misrepresented but I can't get to anything to leave feedback or warnings to other buyers.
