Need help with getting a refund for a “falsely†refunding a buyer of an item of mine
Hello to all and thanks for anybody who can offer some advice and help
I recently made a sale on eBay for a Pokémon card for $19.50. I mailed the card in a plain white envelope with a shipping of $1.12. When I get to the post office, they tell me I need to add extra shipping because the cardboard I have in the envelope won’t go through the sorter. I pay an extra four or five dollars and they put a new label on the letter and it gets delivered on June 8th.
Unfortunately, I forgot to change the tracking number on the sale listing to the new tracking number, So the old tracking number shows it never got delivered. Then the seller decides to go ahead and open a case against me for a refund. I didn’t know what was happening at the time so I went ahead and refunded them after a few days from not hearing anything from USPS. And now after the fact, I’m trying to get a refund after I’ve found the receipt for my extra shipping I paid to have this card mailed.
The tracking number itself shows it was delivered June 8 to Brooklyn, NY 11235. This is the only person I’ve sent anything on eBay to Brooklyn, NY 11235.
Heres the tracking number:
Any help on how to get this moving forward or is there nothing I can do?
Thank you in advance 😀
